The Empire of Utopia

The Empire is a Technocratic Utopia, a form of society which combines strong AI and universal robotics with Technocratic ideas. It is, in short, a perfect paradise. Unlike many attempts at utopias, The Empire is not a one-size-fits-all society but instead provides its subjects with a wide range of subcultures and unique living conditions, many of which are impossible in any other civilization.

Ecconomics

100% mechanization through AI and robotics renders jobs a thing of the past. Work is no longer required to fully enjoy the benifits of society. All subjects are given an equal weekly stipend sufficent to pay for their housing, food, and all other needs.

For those desiring work, projects (both group and solitary) are the answer. A group of people can create a formal project (similar to a non-profit foundation) which has a number of rights, including the ability to petition for additional resources from the Emperor.

Reality and Virtuality

Utopia exists in both Reality and Virtuality.

Internet and Telecommunications are fully accessable from both.
